Product Overview:This 12V on-board solar 2-in-1 charger is designed for recreational vehicles, trucks, and engineering exploration vehicles. It integrates two charging modes—DC on-the-go charging and MPPT solar charging—with automatic switching capability, and supports ACC ignition interlock to prevent the main battery from power depletion. Equipped with high-efficiency MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, it shortens charging time significantly. The four-stage intelligent charging profile can be switched to be compatible with various 12V batteries, including lead-acid, AGM, lithium iron phosphate, and ternary lithium batteries. The charger features a dustproof, moisture-resistant, and flame-retardant enclosure, making it adaptable to on-board vibration, high and low temperature environments. It supports multiple installation methods, with a front panel equipped with multiple indicator lights for intuitive display of device operating status. Anderson quick-connect terminals and RS485/CAN communication interfaces are also provided for convenient wiring and remote monitoring.

This dual-in-one charging unit is specially developed for 12V vehicle systems and fits mobile scenarios including recreational vehicles, trucks and engineering exploration vehicles. It integrates two charging modes: vehicle driving charging and MPPT solar charging. It continuously replenishes power for RV system batteries and vehicle auxiliary batteries, solving problems such as sustained power drain of onboard equipment and vehicle startup failure caused by power-depleted batteries during long-distance trips. It satisfies power consumption and energy storage requirements for outdoor use without external power supply.


2. Core Charging Functions

Dual-mode automatic switching charging: On-board DC driving charging is prioritized when the vehicle is running.
When the vehicle stalls with no driving power input, the unit automatically switches to solar charging with no manual operation required.
It supports linkage with ACC ignition signals: driving charging activates automatically upon vehicle startup and stops after engine shutdown to avoid power depletion of the main starter battery.
Equipped with high-efficiency MPPT solar charging technology, the unit stably captures the maximum power point of solar panels. It achieves higher charging efficiency than traditional charging solutions and greatly shortens charging duration.

Built with four-stage intelligent charging management, the unit features an onboard battery type switch button compatible with multiple types of 12V storage batteries, including lead-acid, AGM, lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium batteries. The device automatically matches corresponding charging voltage parameters to avoid battery damage caused by overcharging or undercharging.


3. Chassis Appearance, Control Panel & Interface Configuration

The whole unit adopts a dustproof, moisture-proof and flame-retardant enclosure, which can withstand harsh onboard environments including vehicle vibration and extreme high/low temperatures. Multiple installation methods are supported: horizontal placement, wall mounting and suspension mounting.
The control panel is fitted with multiple indicator lights to visually identify four operating states: power supply, charging operation, full battery and solar charging. The corresponding indicator light lights up synchronously when switching battery types.

Anderson quick-disconnect wiring terminals are used, with separate ports for solar input, DC driving input and battery output. Reserved RS485 and CAN communication interfaces are also available to support external signal linkage control.
