1. Product Positioning
This 12V-to-12V DC on-board driving charger is tailor-made for recreational vehicles, commercial vehicles, boats and yachts. Powered by the vehicle alternator and main starting battery, it replenishes power for RV system batteries and auxiliary living batteries onboard. Compatible with all types of 12V lead-acid and lithium energy storage batteries, it is a dedicated charging unit for vehicle dual-battery systems.
2. Core Functions
Three-stage intelligent charging logic: standard constant-current and constant-voltage charging phases; an additional float charge maintenance phase is available for lead-acid batteries to fully charge the batteries and minimize self-discharge loss.
Lithium battery wake-up activation function: it can recover lithium batteries that fall into dormancy due to deep power depletion, so such batteries do not need to be judged as scrapped.
Exclusive temperature compensation mechanism for lead-acid batteries: when matched with an optional temperature sensor, the charger automatically adjusts charging voltage based on ambient temperature to avoid overcharging or undercharging lead-acid batteries.
Adjustable onboard DIP switches support custom configuration of exclusive charging voltages for different batteries, compatible with flooded, AGM, gel and lithium iron phosphate batteries.
D+ ignition signal linkage control: charging only activates when the vehicle starts and the alternator operates; it protects the main battery from power depletion after the vehicle shuts down.
Built with an LC current limiting terminal to halve the output current with one single operation.
3. Chassis Structure & Interfaces
The unit features a compact body and robust structure, supporting both horizontal and vertical installation.
It is equipped with dual-color indicator lights for power and fault status, together with a 5-position DIP adjustment panel.
Dedicated terminals are reserved for D+ ignition signal, LC current limiting, and a communication port for temperature sensors.
IV. Comprehensive Safety Protection
Multiple built-in electronic protection functions guard against overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating, positive/negative reverse polarity and output short circuits. The red fault indicator stays steadily on to alert users of equipment malfunctions.
Electrical isolation is implemented between input and output circuits to lower risks of mutual circuit interference.
